Over 30 years ago, Ron Benson created Eureka Entertainment Ltd with one mission in mind: To provide escapism and the best possible entertainment experience for movie lovers from all walks of life. That mission holds true today and Eureka Entertainment has continued, year after year, to create new avenues supplying one of the largest independent film catalogues in traditional home entertainment formats, as well as through new media digital formats and streaming today.
While Eureka Entertainment is the leading independent distributor of classic silent/early films in the UK, their catalogue also contains World Cinema, Action, Horror, Drama, Comedy and Thriller films, providing the diversity and selection necessary to continue to satisfy today’s market demands and to power the digital video revolution for years to come!
In 2004, Eureka established the Masters of Cinema Series, a specially curated DVD collection of classic and world cinema using the finest available materials for home viewing, with important new releases like Shoah (Lanzmann, 1985), Onibaba (Shindo, 1964), Sunrise (Murnau, 1927), Francesco giullare di Dio (Rossellini, 1950), plus many more including the Complete Buster Keaton Short Films 1917-1923.
