Eureka! TV | This popular series continues with eight more episodes from the Whitbury Leisure Centre with more laughs with Chris Barrie And Pippa Haywood

Gordon Brittas (Chris Barrie) is being hailed as national celebrity. He has founded a charity, written a book and is being backed by a national newspaper. He is looking forward to a recording of the popular TV religious series Songs of Praise at the newly rebuilt Whitbury Leisure Centre. Despite a series of accidents, which leads him to believe that a serial killer may be on the loose in the Centre, Gordon is determined the show must go on. And go on it does – Colin is temporarily blinded when his garden explodes, Gavin takes over as manager for the day and, despite Brittas’ absence, things do not go smoothly – it is as if a mysterious force is at work.

Brittas attends an interview in Brussels for a new job as European Commissioner for Sport. Upon his return, Brittas sets about his business with renewed vigour, and tests his abilities with a set of intriguing problems – acid spillages, poison gas, pregnancies and a marooned school bus. After all, a manager should be prepared for anything – everything that is, apart from Colin trying to warn him about an unexploded World War II bomb!

Finally, as Brittas prepares for his departure to Brussels as European Commissioner for Sport, he decides that an emergency water tank ought to be installed as an extra precaution against fire – a decision he later regrets.
