COMPETITION - Win a set of our December releases!

Steve-Eureka

Welcome back to another year and another round of our monthly giveaways! We’ve got some catching up to do, so we’ve got our December 2018 titles up for grabs this time round!

A World War II epic both sweeping and intimate, Yanks is a triumph for director John Schlesinger (Midnight Cowboy, Sunday Bloody Sunday), and a moving showcase for its splendid ensemble cast led by Richard Gere and Vanessa Redgrave. A war film without battle scenes, Schlesinger's drama instead focuses on relationships far from the front, examining the romantic entanglements between the stationed U.S. soldiers and the locals in a small town in Northern England in the 1944 period before the Normandy landings.

The kind of lavish, rousing historical adventure spectacle that doesn't seem to exist anymore, Khartoum is a majestic, star-studded, BAFTA and Oscar-nominated epic that finds director Basil Deardon (Victim) delivering a feast for the eyes, as well as a pointed study of English colonialism, religious fanaticism, and the nature of heroism and sacrifice.

Tsui Hark’s phenomenal Once Upon a Time in China trilogy finally arrives on Blu-ray in the UK from brand new 4K restorations! Starring Jet Li as the real life Cantonese folk hero, Wong Fei-hung, a physical embodiment of traditional Chinese values and moral incorruptibility, this martial-arts epic charts China’s transition into the modern-world as it gradually abandons its old traditions and begins to accept the inevitable encroach of Western cultures. With action sequences choreographed by the legendary Yuen Woo-ping, the Once Upon a Time in China series is a glorious high-point in martial-arts filmmaking.

There’s 3 sets of these fantastic films available to win. To enter, simply follow one or more of the instructions in the box below. Terms and Conditions apply. Competition closes at midday Friday 18 January 2019
